"Day by day and with each passing moment..." begins this favorite hymn written by Lina Sandell. Even though this hymn is lesser known than some of the most loved hymns such as How Great Thou Art or Amazing Grace, the people who know Day By Day consider it to be one of the greatest. It speaks of trusting God to do what he said he would do.

Day by day, and with each passing moment,
Strength I find to meet my trials here;
Trusting in my Father’s wise bestowment,
I’ve no cause for worry or for fear.
He, whose heart is kind beyond all measure,
Gives unto each day what He deems best,
